A Lifelong Love of Language

I wrote my first poem when I was five years old and so moved by the return of spring, that only poetry would do. I memorized the work of a local poet, James Whitcomb Riley, fell in love with the work of Dickinson and later, Mary Oliver. Now, I teach poetry of all types at a small liberal arts college, and I work as an Associate Poetry Editor for the Philly Chapbook Review.
